Google and Yahoo Japan join together

Yahoo Japan owned by Softbank, which hold a stake of around 40 percent, will switch to Google search engine. In search market, Yahoo Japan currently has just over a 56 percent share and Google has just over 31 percent. Microsoft only takes 3 percent share. So after Google and Yahoo Japan join together; the pair will control almost the entire market share of search in the Japanese market. Some people think this deal may make paid search.
